Children in the Corn

He who works his land will have abundant food,
but he who chases fantasies lacks judgement.
Proverbs12:11Sorry friends, blogging has taken a back seat these past few weeks. Life and beautiful weather draws me out doors most days. The work load has doubled since the garden is in full growth. Weeds, weeds, and more weeds...if we don't keep up with the
weeds, they will take over.
The whole family pitches in with the work.

My girl rounds up her Spring chicks.

This is our biggest garden so far and it is growing so beautifully.

Green beans and zucchini

squash
Lots of corn to fill our freezer.

and much more...
Still with all the work,
we remember to find time to smell the roses...

Some days,
my cup runs over and over and over some more. :)
God's goodness and blessings abound in this life.
Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life, to
mind your own business and to work with your
hands, just as we told you, so that your daily
life may win the respect of outsiders and so
that you will not be dependent on anybody.
1 Thessalonians 4:11-12
